History of the Colour Green

Chlorophyll is the photosynthetic pigment found in plants that allows them to have a calming hue.  Green has been around since the beginning of time. Didn't come so naturally to those who tried to manufacture it's pigment. Its pigments were poisonous.  However green still represents; regeneration and rebirth.  Green was originally made by Ancients Romans. They would soak up copper plates in wine to create verdigris- a green pigment that comes after weathering the metal.
